what is going on??
As long as you are staying hydrated, your body should not be calling for more food. The nerves that send hunger messages to your brain have been severed/numbed by the surgery. More than likely what you are experiencing is "head hunger". It is a feeling that comes more from habit than true hunger. Let's face it, we didn't get to where we were by only eating when we were hungry and stopping when we were full. We learned to feed ourselves for lots of other reasons. You may be bored, tired, anxious, or just miss the activity of chewing.
It's a tired cliche, but the surgery was on your stomach and not your head. Learning to deal with head hunger is just one of the challenges.
Best wishes.

I can eat as much as I want...I just don't want much.
I'm ashamed of what I did for a Klondike bar...
