I looked at WAVE3's site and they say we have a chance of tornadoes...then I looked at NOAAs site and they say the same thing. We had several around my house 3 years ago..and it has freaked me out. Now every time I now we will have sever storms, I get worried, I sometimes panic, and Im a hawk in the sky (I pay very close attention to things weather wise). I work in fast food and we dont have any type of radio, or weather system other than word of mouth. Im very worried. My son will either be in schoo or day care..if it hits around 3-4. Ive seen where it might hit around 5 or 6..and some say 9. I dont now!!!
I am prepared..i have flashlights, and we have a gas grill we used 3 years ago for a week. We have huge coolers.
It will be ok. I have been online most of the evening with NOAA, since I am a storm spotter for Orange county. I know we are in for some rough weather.........but hang in there. The way most of the storms fronts are moving, more are going to the north of Georgetown and the Louisville area. The main thing we have to watch for tomorrow is if we get more sun and heat than we necessarily need. If the clouds move away early tomorrow morning, we will wind up with more strong storms. If they don't, and it stays cloudy and foggy in the morning, we will have more of the rain and winds.
If you are really worried, take a small portable radio with you to work. You will be able to listen to updates when you get a chance. Hope this eases your mind some. I will be out during all of my breaks, and have to call in at anything unusual. It will be ok.

thanks for the confort. It so neat knowing a spotter!!!
I live in Floyd county and ive heard the same thing. I kinda want some storms, but i think I will be fine with out the sever ones lol. I ..err..dont have one. If Idid, I wouldnt be able to listen unless i as in back window. I guess ill have to have someone call me on my cell if there is soemthing. We do have the sirens..but by the time they go off..we would only have a few min to get in the bathrooms, and since im in fast food..they will want the food to be served..HELL NO lol
could you.maybe..call me cell and leave a message if there is anything bad around harrison county????
I wouldn't mind calling you, but since I will be at work also, I won't know exactly when of if you have severe weather in Harrison, or Floyd Counties. And, I may not have any access to my phone while I am on the games. If I was off work today tho, yeah I would call you......and anyone else for that matter.
In the fast food resturaunts, your best place to go is either the interior restrooms, or the walk-in coolers. Just a reminder.
Just hang in there.......they will be passed before you know it.
