Time's a tick tick ticking!!!

I can't believe how fast time is going.  This month has simply slipped by!  I'm busy at work trying to get things ready for my time off.  It seems like more and more things get put on my desk! I'm really starting to get excited, nervous, anxious...all those things.  It's been great to read about the new Hoosier Losers and how well each has been doing.  What a blessing to have this site! An added blessing happened this past weekend.  I met a young woman who had her surgery in Carmel a few years ago.  She's done great!  She really encouraged me and has gotten me so excited about it.  The more excited I get, the more anxious I get.  AHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!

Sorry I've not been around much.  I pop in and out throughout the day to catch up on everyone's progress.  You're all in my prayers!   Oodles of love, Jacqui

 

Jacqui, You're almost there!  We're looking forward to seeing you and Troy next week.  Let me know when you're getting to town and maybe we can visit with you before your surgery.  We're planning on seeing you after your surgery before you go home too. You are going into this so excited and positive, I know you'll do great.

Floyd, We'll be leaving here Thursday morning after breakfast.  I'm wondering what to do about my meals for that day.  I'm on full liquids for lunch and clear liquids for dinner.  I guess we could pack some stuff and bring something to cook it in the hotel.  Any ideas? I'm looking forward to seeing you and Brenda again.  Can't wait for you guys to meet Troy.  I know he'll feel much better about the whole thing once he sees how great you look and how well you're doing. I just hope that you do as well as I have done physically. I am not losing weigh ta s fast as some; my pace has been moderate. but, i feel so good and have had few problems. This surgery is such a blessing!!! In what hospital are you going to have your surgery done and who is your doctor?

I'm really glad you've done so well.  I'm hoping the same for me!  I don't care how fast/slow it comes off as long as it comes off. Dr. Diaz is my surgeon and I'll have it at St. Vs in Carmel. Jacqui

I've been thinking about you lately, you are in my prayers.  You are on my calendar to stop by on my way to the clothing exchange on Saturday.  We'll go for a stroll around the hallway.

Emil,  I love that verse.   I remember hearing about an elderly woman who claimed that one as her protection.  One night she was followed to her car by a purse-snatcher.  He reached toward her to rob her and then he screamed and ran.  The police caught him and he said that the woman felt like she was covered with feathers.  He hadn't even touched her. Ain't God Grand!?!
