Hi to all my hoosier friends. I am home, I did come home Thursday evening.  I think now it was a little early.  I continued vomitting all night Wed. night thru Friday evening.  It was only when I would get up from laying down.  It was terrible.  They said it was normal, that your stomach is used to being one way and now it is a different way and just isnt used to it.  I am not vomitting now, but still have the gas.  I was having chest pain from the drain tube, so I called the doc and the nurse told me how to take it out, it feel a little better, but still have the gas.  I am getting my protein, meals and fluids in as well as my vitamins.  I cannot find Calcium anywhere in my area though, so I am going to have to check with the dietician Thursday. Thank you to those who come to visit me, I remember you being there.  I was still very groggy. Thank you to all who kept me in your prayers, I really appreciate all of you. I just wanted to update you all.  I will not be on again for a few days, because my computer is down at home, so I have to wait until I am at my mom's or my in-laws.   Good luck to all of you that have upcoming surgeries if I dont get to post. Jenny

I am so happy to see that you are home and doing well, Jenny. We were all wondering about you! Hope you can get some calcium soon. That will really help out!  Take it easy, and post when you can. Good luck, and God bless you for a speedy recovery!

I am so glad you are doing ok.  We were so used to your posting that it was a bit of concern that we hadn't heard from you.  The vomiting is a bummer. . . I never had to deal with that.  And though I have had gas, I must be so full of hot air that the gas just seemed about the same.  Re:calcium-that was the last thing I dealt with,  I didn't really get started until after the first post op appointment.  I bought some liquid calcium and didn't like.  I finally threw it away after I found Citracal creamy bites which I get at Kroger or at CVS online mail order.  I have also heard they have them at Meijer and they are good!!  Get well, quit vomiting, pass some gas and back to normal!!!!

Hi Jenny, I haven't talked to you in some time. I'm Lisa K's mom. Terri from New Castle. Lisa had her surgery and is doing well. I'm sorry you are still getting sick. Hang in there. It will get better with each passing day. I'm still waiting for my WLS. My last visit for my 6 month visit with my doctor is on the 29 of this month. Hoping I can get everything done before the end of the year. Take care of yourself. Terri
