MISSING BABY JAYDEN DAVID ATYEO ... MOMMY MISSES YOU!!!
THE FIRST FEW DAYS I WANTED TO SLEEP THEN I STARTED WALKING THE DOG AND MOVING AROUND A LOT MORE. JUST DO WHAT YOUR BODY TELLS YOU TO DO . BUT REMEMBER TO SIP SIP SIP. I GOT IN THE HABIT OF HOLDING A SIPPY CUP OF WATER WHEN I WAS SLEEPING ( I WAS IN A RECLINER) AND WOULD SIP EVEN IN MY SLEEP. I KNOW IT SOUNDS FUNNY BUT IT WORKES IF YOU CAN DO IT.
GOOD LUCK

You are wearing a binder... you usually have a drain tube... you feel very sleepy, like you had been thru major surgery... YOU HAVE!! But once that rotten drain comes out!!! Wow!!! You feel better... you have gotten on the scales and have lost 5-11 pounds.. ( I lost 11 my first week) and all of a sudden you think wow this might have been worth it!!
I was tired alot the first month.. SIP SIP SIP!! and for the first time in your life you are probably thinking about YOU rather than everyone else... thats ok too!!! You deserve time to take care of you. You keep thinking isnt there something else I can do to get more protien in... Just do your best. It is hard to get it all in the first couple weeks.. I drank alot of milk!!!
Bestest wishes!!!

Most of my "pain" was just soreness.. sometimes gas pain at first but walking took care of that. I have had 2 c sections, hysterectmy, gall bladder before my RNY.. it wasnt any worse than my gall bladder surgery and not as bad as m y hysterectmy.. At first you will take your pain meds but it will help you to get up and walk. Dont turn them down unless they just make you to sleepy to walk.. You need to walk. it will hekp with most the soreness and to disburse the gas...
You will probably be fine and probably be amazed at how what you worried about didnt happen.. There are more sucess stories than not.
