what school is the clothing exchange at?
You might just try a health food store and get a whole wheat...not a processed wheat.....it has to say whole wheat...but its a carb that is good for us. Also, I would use a natural (no added sugar) applesauce. If not there are some that have alot of sugar in them and can make many dump!!!
If u can get a good healthy recipe for a cake I'd be intested in it. I know suzanne somers has a few mixes on her website that are sugarless and I think are flourless too. She even has a brownie mix...they just arent super cheap. They are really good. Ive tried tons of her products becouse they are all sugar free and I can tolerate them all. I love her breakfast cereals and her deserts. Her spices and simmer sauces are really great too. Her site also has tons of sugar free recipes.
She also has the best protein bars ever....no sugar and pure protein.

Hi there. Instead of applesauce, you can use beans (yes, I said beans!). Use black beans for chocolate cake or great northern beans for white or yellow cake. You will avoid the sugar in the applesauce and add protein and fiber. I usually just use a low sugar cake mix (available at Kroger, I think it's made by pilsbury), 1 can of beans pureed in the blender or food processor, use the same amount of water and eggs recommended on the package or in your recipe, however you can just use the egg whites and avoid the fat & cholesteral in the eggs (no need to add extra eggs). Bake as normal. It makes your cake very moist and no one can tell you put beans in it. I then use instant sugar free pudding mix with 1/2 the milk: 2 boxes w/1 1/2 - 2 cups milk for the icing. You will have to keep it in the fridge for storage, but it really makes a great cake.
