WOW...this was so cool

today my family and i attended the local festival parade...i took lots of pictures, and while there I saw this boy I know that I took senior pictures of last year. I hadn't seen him in a very long time and he came running up to me and said "OMG you look GREAT!"...I was shocked, blushed and thanked him....it was very strange to have a young kid (19 i think) come basically running up to me to tell me I looked great! lol.... today i'm 250lbs....that's 50 lost since surgery, and 56 total from my highest weight. I'm wearing size 22's easily now...wearing things I haven't worn in years and in one more pound I'll be lighter than I've been in at least 9 yrs. how exciting is that? :) sorry i haven't posted much lately...i've been sooo sooo busy, but things are slowing down now and that's a good thing! i do stop and read, just don't always get to post.... Misty--I'm praying for your recovery daily...i sure hope things are looking up for you now. :) Janene--though I haven't gotten a chance to call you yet you've been on my mind a lot...i hope your recovery is proceeding well...miss talking to you girl! LaChelle--was so good to see you this week and hopefully in the near future we can make some time to hang out. hugs to everyone! Jen

 You one hot mama, YOU! wooooohooooooo Honkeytonk badonkeydonk.....(however you spell it) LOL  I can't wait to be a 22!  I am doing great...I am actually able to walk down to the 2nd house next door without crutches or my knee brace!  I haven't done that in 6 months! I can't tell that I have lost any weight (what;s up with THAT???? It's been 11 days since surgery! LOL) and I am gonna wait to weigh in at the doc office on my first visit on the 29th... Take it easy on that leg! I wouldn't want you to have to need those crutches again any time soon!  Glad to hear that you are doing so well!  I can't wait for that time myself!  You are bound to be losing, you just can't tell it yet, because you see yourself every day in the mirror!  You will be surprised when you go to the dr soon!

Jen, the girls and I had a blast today in the parade!  They were all sound asleep as soon as they hit the pillows! lol  My face and neck is very sunburned, but thats ok, the flag corps stayed hydrated! I don't know exactly how far we walked, but I now know that I can do it!  Even more so AFTER surgery!  Hope you got some great pictures! I would love to see them sometime soon!  We will definatly have to make plans to get together again soon.  Bingo was a blast Wed. night also!  Jimmy said on the way home that he was glad to know that there was someone else in town that has had wls, and would know what I am going to be going thru in the near future!  I think by him seeing a real person, instead of just bulletins on here, it makes it easier for him also.
