I am getting ready for tomorrow

I am getting ready for my trip to my hospital in the morning. This time tomorrow I am going to be into my new life. I have to finish packing. I started doing that yesterday and I got side tracked and never got back to it. That is the story of my life. It always has been and more than likely always will be. Bill went fishing today and so I took the time to do some much needed grocery shopping for him while I am in the hospital. He isn't much of a cook so I got easy things for him for his dinner and for his lunches. He is working this week and then he is on vacation next week. I figured that most of the week I will be in the hospital and so what is the sense of him being home this week. I am a bit nervous mostly because of the staples and the fact that this is the first surgery that I will have where they are going to cut me. I had my gallbladder out but that was laparscopic so I don't count that since you get tape with a brain as I call it with that. lol   I better get going. It isn't getting any earlier and I have to finish packing. I will try to get on here in the morning but I have to leave at 7. I would appreciate any prayers for me. It isn't going to hurt to get more than you need. I would rather have to many than not enough! lol

Good luck tomorrow!  Start thinking of a nice, happy place to go to while you're under the good drugs.  When you awake, you'll be at the start of an amazing new journey!!

You are so close!!! In just a few hours, you will have a new life again. Take a few moments to yourself to think back at how far you have come......and how far you still have ahead! Good luck tomorrow, and God Bless.  You will be in my prayers for a painless surgery and a speedy recovery.

I will be praying for you tonight and tomorrow.  You are starting a wonderful journey of a new life and health.  I am almost 5 month post-op and life is even better than I expected.  Follow the rules and you will do fine.  Remember to sip your liquids and do your walking.  Best wishes! Peg
