Dizziness

Misty,  I'm going to sound like a broken record also. I had trouble getting in enough fluids in also the only way I could even come close at first was to constantly keep my sippy cup in my hand a sip. I also kept trying new things finally I now get at least my 64oz in sometimes even 100ozs. Also I keep something by my bed so if I wake up I drink. I've found that room temp things sometimes goes down better even though I like ice cold better.  What temp are the fluids that you put down your g-tube? Maybe that is the reason for the pain or too much at one time. If I can help please let me know I don't post often but I lurk almost dailey if not weekly. Hope you get over this hurdle soon. Cheryl

I was getting dizzy and almost passing out because my blood pressure was too low.  i was still on blood pressure meds but didn't need them.

Thanks for the replies, I'm doing a bit better now. I ended up having a really bad episode along with multiple episodes of just dizzy spells Friday night and we went to the hospital the next town up who does Bariatrics and they kept me til today to make sure that it was not anything beyond the obvious, plus they wanted to check my heart and make sure that it wasn't blood pressure related. I was dehydrated and my hemaglobin was low soooo they did loads of fluids and I'm back to normal again. I actually managed to get about 60 oz of fluids in on my own yesterday and eat 2 meals and I've gotten about 30 oz in so far today, just have to keep a steady dose of the anti nausea meds in. But anyways I just wanted to update it. I have an appointment with Dr C on Friday sooo thats bout it for now.
