I have been to a few St. V's events. The Christmas party can be as formal as you want it to be. I dressed up when I went, but not everyone did. So, it is really up to you. It is a fun night to dance!! Just wear something that you want to have fun in! Rhonda

What i was told was that you have to be post-op to go.

You do have to be a post-op patient of Stt. Vincent's to go to that party. Te*****ally, you are allowed to bring one guest. Last year, because I couldn't drive (my foot in a cast) and Bill can't drive (poor vision), I had 2 guests...Tiffany & Bill. No one said anything about it. I wouldn't bring any kids to this though...a bit formal for that. So no one is left out..... We (obesityHelp.com, Indiana board) also has a Christmas get together. It's an ornament exchange and Floyd & Brenda will be hosting it this year. Keep a look out for their posts about it in the future! Sherri
