Christmas party

Hi all you great indiana lady's and men.  I went to the support group at st v's last nite and had a great time. I found out the date for the christmas party  will be december 4th at the ritz charles on highway 31 about a mile south of st. vincent carmel. I havent posted much but i read the blogs every day. I had my surgery on nov 14th 06 and i havent had any problems and i have loss 178.6 lbs. Hope you all have a great day. till next time big bob

What do you have to do to go to the Christmas party and is anyone else going to go?

I went last year.  Andy was in LA at the time so Carmen went as my date.  Its a very formal event.  Most everyone was very dressed up.  It was a very beautiful event.  As long as you had your surgery at St. V's you are welcome to attend it doesnt matter how far out u are.  All the surgeons even showed up.  Last yr I had a pic of my Dr and myself on my profile...not sure if its still there but it was from the party. I already bought my dress for this year.  It was so exciting buying a designer dress...my first since surgery....I cant wait to wear it. Its a marc bouer...he did some of the dresses for the stars at the Emmys this year.....However mine isnt one of his cutour(sp).  I ordered it online.  Yes Floyd u know where too!!!

WELL PAMALA AND JESSYCA IF ANDY AND DAVID ARENT GOING TO BE ABLE TO GO THEM JIM CAN TAKE THE 3 OF US. HE JUST DONT KNOW IT YET,JESSYCA I NEED TO GO SHOPPING FOR A FORMAL DRESS. I HAVE SHORT ONES I DONT KNOW IF THAT WOULD WORK OR NOT. HELP YOU 2. I HAVE NO FASHION SKILLS. ( YET) I AM DOWN 126 NOW SO BY CHRISTMAS I WANT TO BE DOWN AT LEAST ANOTHER 45-50 POUNDS SO I NEED TO GET IN GEAR MORE AND WORK OUT AN EXTRA 15 MINUTES A DAY. IF I CAN MAKE THAT GOAL I WILL WEAR MY LIL BLACK DRESS. ITS A SHORT ONE AND JIM SAYS I LOOK HOT IN IT, BUT IF I DO MAKE THE GOAL I WILL HAVE TO HAVE IT TAKEN UP SOME.. ( NEVER THOUGHT I WOULD EVER SAY THAT) VICKI

Yeah we need to go shopping... i wonder how formal is formal.... hmmmm.... i could get a foormal corset with a bustle victorian skirt... LOL

BIG THING IS FOR ME GETTING JIM TO GET INTO A SUIT AND TIE. LOL DONT THINK HE WILL DO A TUX BUT WOULD BE NICE ( IF IT IS THAT FORAML) VICKI

I didnt buy a long formal gown,  I just got a short skirt and body suit shirt.  Im hoping to wear it to a couple of semi formal Christmas events and then even again for Valentines dinner with my sweetie... Here is a picture of the one I bought. I got it in Cranberry and in a much larger size than the  one the model is wearing...

As for Andy hes just wearing a black suit and with a red/burgundy tie that will match my dress

Now I just have to find me a pair of really hot shoes to go with my dress.

 

COOL I HAVE THE PERFECT DRESS. AND JIM IS GOING OT WEAR A BLACK SUIT TYPE OUTFIT AND A TIE TO MATCH WHAT EVER I DECIDE TO USE WITH MY DRESS ( MOST LIKELY PURPLE) . Girl,  When am I not up to shopping and food???  I would love to go over to metropolis again shopping for shoes at DSW if u are game plus go to Ulta.  Maybe we could go after the clothing exchange and then go out to dinner???
