Update On Mom...

Hi everyone, Thanks for the replies, I will make sure she gets them when she comes home. She is still in the hospital. Not sure when she will get to come home. But they confirmed today that she does have pnumonia (please forgive spelling). They have her on steroids and antibiotics. Her surgeons partner came today and looked at her incisions from her surgery and she said all of that looked really good. So a bit of good news. Mom is still having a lot of problems breathing. Also her oxygen levels aren't quite where the doctors would like them so now we wait to to see what happens. But mom is walking when she can and of course complaining about the food choices they have given her, but other than that she seems to be ok. Just to let you guys know again  she is at St. Vincent Carmel room 332. Just to let ya know though she is still pretty out of breathe talking. But it doesn't stop her from doing so... haha... I will try to send something tomorrow to let you guys know what is going on if not I will definately send something Monday. Thanks again for all the concerns and prayers, they are deeply appreciated. Thanks Tiff- I am thinking of her and hoping that she is well soon! I bet she doesn't like that food- heheheh she is the QUEEN of sugarfree ya know, maybe she could give them a few ideas!!!!HHHMMMM!!! I was hoping to visit with her, but don't want her to talk, please let her know that I am here and thinking of her! I will probably wait until she is home and feeling more up to company! Hugz Dawn

Tiff,  Thankfully they found out whats going on and she's gettiung the right meds & treatment! It was all I could do today to keep from coming down to see her- just afraid she'd want to talk instead of rest- which she needs to heal. I know the food doesn't compare to hers, but I know when I was sick that nothing tasted good. Let her know i am thinking of her, and will be down to see her once she feels better. Ellen,  Thanks for the reply and I will let her know that you are thinking of her. I am going home now to get some rest for work early tomorrow... YUCK..haha. Very busy this past week, hopefully I get to see my kids tomorrow after work, I haven't been able to see them really at all the last few days with work and mom.
