Walk from Obesity

Becky and I attended the walk from obesity at ft. harrison today.  All went well until the last .5 mile.  Denny Thomas who was part of our team was doing the walk with his 80+ year old mother and she was in a wheelchair.  We did not see what happened but he fell and was knocked out and his mother came out of the wheelchair. They were both sent to Methodist.  Becky and I checked on them and they were still doing test. We believe they will be OK. Please add them to your prayers.  We will keep you informed. E

How sad! I am so sorry to hear this  happening to your friend! I wish them both speedy recoveries! Glad that you and Becky were able to enjoy your walk otherwise! It was nice seeing you at the dinner the other night, although I didn't realize that it was the two of you until you were already gone! Maybe we can chat at the next get together! LOL!! Hugz Dawn

We called Methodist last night and was told Denny is in Neurology Critical care unit. Hopefully it is just them being careful.  We will stop after church today to check and see.  Sorry no update on his mom as of yet. E
