I am sixteen days post-op from DS surgery.  In the last two days, I've felt unusually tired and weak.  Has anyone else experienced this?  Any helpful hints to let this pass more quickly?  I am going to walk this evening.  I think that's going to be important and helpful. Thanks, Laura

Your body has just been through alot,... you need to give it time to heal. Walking is very good for you. But remember, you're going  to be tired for a bit.

After my DS I was tired for almost a month.  Just felt exhausted and didn't want to do anything! Going for a walk will be very helpful.. Cheers!

Thank you for the replies.  I see that I need to listen to my body AND keep walking.  You've reminded me that each person is different regarding the healing process, too.  Thank you. Laura

IT IS VERY COMMON TO GET TIRED REAL EASY FOR THE FIRST MONTH OR 2. I GOT TO A POINT I HAD TO TAKE 2 B-12 PILLS A WEEK TO KEEP UP MY ENERGY. I ASK MY NUT ABOUT IT AND SHE SAID AS LONG AS I DONT TAKE MORE THEN THAT I WOULD BE FINE. AND FOR ME ANYWAY THAT SEEMS TO WORK WELL,  IT WILL GET BETTER I PROMISE.  TRY GETTING A LITTLE MORE PROTINE IN THAT MIGHT HELP AS WELL. BUT LIKE IT HAS BEEN SAID YOUR BODY HAS JUST BEEN THROUGH A LOT AND WILL TAKE TIME TO AJUST.  GOOD LUCK VICKI
