How much did you lose during supervised weight loss--pre-op?

Since I will most likely be starting over with my six months of physician supervised weight loss, I was just wondering how much everyone lost from the time they start the weight loss to the time their paperwork was sent to the insurance for approval.  I am afraid to lose TOO much because I don't want the insurance to tell me that I can lose the weight on my own and don't need the insurance but I also don't want to lose to little and have the insurance say I didn't try hard enough!  So just an idea of how much weigh is "okay" to lose and still get approved would help ease my mind!  Thanks!

I've lost 80.8 since Dec.06. I don't know how this will effect me as for the insurance. I was told that the insurance has to consider my BMI, my co-morbidities, and years of obesity. Not that they will considr all of these but they are supossed to. I've posted a chart on my profile. Check it out if you want. Sorry you have to start over. That really sucks.
