I have a date!!

Hard to believe that my initial consultation was August 27 and my surgery date is October 16th.  I was prepared for a much longer wait. OMG I have so much to do before then....A question for you ladies re: a robe.  I know I will be doing 'hall-walking' and I remember seeing a picture  of a lady doing just that while toting an IV pole.  She had a hospital gown on.   Can you put a robe on if you're hooked up to an IV? I don't really want to spend the money on an extra huge jumbo robe...because I AM GOING TO BE THIN!!!! Julie

The gowns they have on that floor will cover you for your hike time.  You may not be in long enough to worry. Just go and let them take care of you.  And TAKE the pain med. they offer you before you go home. E

I just used their gown.. believe me theyre plenty big enough and if not they tape it or give ya a gown to put on backwards too.. I wouldn't buy a robe and didn.t

Glad you got things rolling so fast. Save your money until you get thin then splurdge on yourself for new robe. I'd use the two gown thing. Love & Hugs.

AWESOME!!!! Glad to hear that you have your re-birthdate set!!!  I am so happy for you! Hopefully my date will come as quickly as yours did!!!
