Wednesday

It's oh so early, on Wednesday morning. I got woken up by the dogs, and couldn't fall back asleep immediately. I have to go to my son's school this morning for a case conference. (They called a special one,... apparently he's been having problems there, too.) I am a bit nervous about going. These things always intimidate me. Then I have to go into the office, where I haven't been in two days. I can't wait to see the work waiting for me. You know? I am just so stressed right now. But I was munchy now, and ate some special K protein plus. So I guess that's a decent snack. Protein and fairly low cal.  I hope all you are going to have a good day. If you do that kind of thing, keep us in your prayers, to get through this hospitalization (for the better).

Good morning. It is a beautiful RAINY morning in French Lick. I am getting ready to wake the girls for school, but just wanted to sit and enjoy the sound of the falling rain. It is music to my ears since it has been so long since we had a real rain. I go back to work today.  I love my job, but hate my Mondays.....which is always Wednesdays! LOL  You know the Carpenters song.........Rainy days and Mondays Always get me down.  Yes, that is true. At least I will have a good day, because I am determined to have fun at work........I love to play games! LOL If it isn't raining this evening, we may be going to Mitchell, to their Persimmon Festival.  It sounds like so much fun, and we didn't get to go last year, so we want to enjoy it this time. Molly got her hair cut last night, and now Mariah wants hers cut, so we may get it cut while we are there!  Time to wake the "dead", so have a good morning!

Good morning.  I hope the conference goes well for you and that everything at work runs smoothly.  Your stress is understandable with all you've been through.  Remember you have all of us out here keeping you in thought and prayer.  God never gives us more than He knows we can handle. Hugs

Hi everyone,  I am taking Amy down for a fetal ultrasound to see how the babies are progressing this am. so up & at um~ I'd much rather be in -ZZZZZ, but gotta do what a Grammy's gotta do!!! Went & visited with my SIl yesturday. She is happy to be home,tired, and taking her pain meds. every 5 hrs. Her hubby is still in considerable denial, & upset that she can't go & do- so he is a baking maniac, stuff everywhere, and with his heart condition & weight, it isn't what he needs. Why is it we turn to food when stress strikes?!!I don't know, but the "munchies" have struck me ever since I came off the prednizone. I am trying to make them protien and sf. popsycles,jello. Linda, I am sending many (((((((((((((((((((((hugs))))))))))))))))))))))) your way along woth my prayers that they find out what is going on with your son's meds. etc. and he is on to a smooth path soon.With my families history of illness, I do understasnd your frustrations. Go into his class with your head held high, and know you are the Mom God chose for him~ and He doesn't make mistakes! I am hoping to hear Sherri is home today and doing well. I know Bill will take good care of her, and Tiffany will be there too.She may not be bubbly self today, but soon I know she will feel like a new woman! Dawn, I'm praying you get stronger everyday. I just got a heck of a "wake-up" call from my DD Mariah. She and her sister, Molly were on the bus on their way to school. As some of you may remember, I live on the 2nd highest peak in So. IN, and it is very hilly, curvy, and kinda dangerous to drive, especially since we have been having construction up on the peak.  The semis have tore up the roads, and made them almost impossible to drive unless you are really careful.  Anyway, Mariah called me to let me know that she and Molly were having to get on another bus.  Apparently the rear wheel slid a little bit on the gravel in the rain and mud, and slid off into a small ditch and got stuck.  The kids were all fine, and no one was injured, hurt, or even scared, so that was a blessing.  It has been raining hard here, and I am sure that didn't help the situation any, but Mariah wanted to let me know that I needed to take the "long" way around because the bus was stuck and blocking the road the way I normally take to get to work.  My 7 y.o. was thinking more about my concern and safety than that of her own. I told her thank you, and as she was getting ready to hang up, she said, "It was because I love you that I called. I wanted to make sure you were ok getting to work today."  I am so blessed to have wonderful children that I do! Now, I must leave, so I can take the long way around, I just had to share the unconditional love that my children have! I pray that each of you experience this love from someone......not necessarily a child, just someone close to you. God Bless each of you today!

Well its a dreary Wednesday morning here in Albany IN.  It is about 8:50 am, been up since 5:30am.   DH is at the Ducktail Run in Gas City.  For those of you who dont know, it is a huge car show, much like the James Dean in Fairmount.  He will be there thru Saturday, he does come home at night.  I really dont know why he thinks he has to just go there and sit, but whatever. 2 weeks today until my big day Well everyone have a good day! Im loving this rain! Man o Man yall I'm having a tough time sleeping because I got so used to belly sleeping again and it hurts too bad to roll onto my left side or belly because of the Gtube. It seemed like it took hours to get to sleep last night.  Anyways.. i'm waiting on docs office to call back.. theres conflicting information being given to me bout my diet now soooo I'm waiting for clarification. My mom and husband said they thought I am supposed to start trying soft solids because I need to be eating enough to get off the gtube. But I am sure I was told to stay on full liquids. Problem is they were coherant and I was not lol Soo I'm not sure what to do.  At 8 weeks out most people are on soft solids by now sooooo I don't really know whos right or what not. Anyways I'm exhausted still. I just cannot catch up on everything.  Is anyone going to be coming to the big Seymour Oktoberfest coming up?? I can't wait hehe even if I cannot eat 95% of what they have I can still walk tons. Please let me be feeling better by then!! 

Morning Everyone Today was suppose to be Quinntin's offical due date. We get to sit and watch it go by. Went to the OB yesterday and nothing has changed. The midwife said she seriously doubts I go anytime soon so next week she wants me to see the doc and schedule a c-section. She rescraped my cervical membranes some more and said she hopes, but doubts, that will bring on natural labor. I can't even begin to describe the range of emotions and thoughts that I'm going through right now. Linda - hang in there. There's a valid reason why in GOD's plan why your son ended up on the hospital. So be strong for him when you go to the school to represent his best interest. Don't let them bully you around. As a parent of a child with special needs, whenever I have to approach the school system it's the one time I don't mind putting on my "b&^$%" suit and standing up for my son. A lot of schools don't like "kids w/problems" and want to assure YOU that it's your problem and not theirs. Well, it takes a community to raise a child, not just the parents. Remind them of that and don't back down. Everyone have a good day or as much as possible with this off/on rain! Jodi

I hate this rain it makes me so tired... I went to target last night and had a HUGE wow moment. I'jm going on a cruise in December and plan on losing another 20-25 lbs by then... I have NO clothes to wear... so I went to target thinking maybe that they would have some stuff on sale... I wear an xxl or xl shirt in juniors depending on the make and so i figure i'll proly be in a L by the time the cruise comes a long... especially at target as their clothes are usually made small i think. I got 5 size L shirts for 16.50... I was so happy... and when I got home i thought there's no way these are even going to get on... but i tried anyway and surprisingly i was able to get them all on... now they were tight... but i got them on... I have NEVER been able to wear a size L shirt... I can't believe it... YEAH!!!

Jo... I hope it starts up soon for you girl... that stinks I know you want him out now...
