Sherri Update

Sherri's daughter, Tiffany, called me about 2:50 and said Sherri was in recovery.  The surgery went well and lasted the exact amount of time planned.  It started about 7 and she got into recovery about 2:30.  She has three drains that will stay in until next week, which is what Sherry expected.  They are planning on giving her pain medications and she'll be released to come home tomorrow.  Tiffany said she has to be there at 7:30 tomorrow morning to pick her up.  Tiffany will call me later with an update once Sherri gets into her room.  I'll keep everyone posted. LET HER KNOW THAT WE ARE THINKING OF HER AND HOPE SHE HAS A SPEEDY RECOVERY . GOD BE WITH HER AND HOLD HER.  I AM SO HAPPY FOR HER AND CANT WAIT TO BE IN HER SHOES ...LOL PAIN AND ALL( THANK GOD FOR MEDS) VICKI

Thanks for keeping us posted! I know she is glad to be done with this part of her transformation, and now all she needs is God's healing hands to touch her for a quick recovery! Send her my prayers, please!

Hi Floyd, I had called Tiff around 1 to see how things were going. She said Bill & she were waiting on the Drs. to finish & Sherri to go to recovery. She did wonderful- and thanks for posting this!!! I know she'll be on pain meds. for awhile, and has to walk around the house as much as she can stand. I know Bill will be a great "nurse", & take good care of her.  I also heard from Karen,Dawn's Mom, around 12:15 that she was in recovery and everything went well, too! So our buddies are on their way to feeling/looking great! (((hugs))) Ellen

Thanks for the updates...but I forgot....what did Dawn have surgery for???  I remember they wanted to go thru her belly button and she was talking about not having one...but cant for the life of me remember why??
