Visit with Misty

I don't live too far from St. Vs and I knew Misty was supposed to have surgery tomorrow so I went by to see her this evening.  She is tired of being in the hospital and tired of feeling poorly but she is hanging in there considering how much she has been through.  She went back in the hospital last Tuesday, started having seizures on Wed. and is scheduled tomorrow to have gall bladder surgery and a feeding tube put in.  She even had to have blood transfusions over the weekend, I think they said her hematocrit got too low, but they weren't sure why.  So, she has really had a bunch of things going on.  Fortunately her mother is staying at the hospital with her. I told her everyone was concerned about her and would be thinking of her tomorrow and hoping for a successful resolution to her problems.

Thanks for the update on Misty, it means so much for someone to visit her, I am sure. Thanks again.

I just missed you ... I also had the opportunity to visit her this evening.  She looks good and sounds like she's ready to get her surgery over with.  Thankfully, they plan on taking out this PICC before she goes home.  She'll have a G-tube to provide nutrition and fluids until she's recovered from the gall bladder surgery.  She appreciates everyone's wishes, hopefully we'll "see" her back here soon.
