Good morning all! It is a beautiful, yet cool, Sunday morning here in the Valley.  If I didn't know it any better, I would swear there is frost on the hillside outside the house. Nothing surprises me around here anymore! I think after 1 year, I am finally getting used to the change in seasons being so darn drastic! Not much of anything planned today. We will go to church, and then afterward, I would love to spend the day with the girls just doing something fun. Jimmy hasn't gotten home from work yet, but he will clock out soon, and have to come home and go to  immediately. That is why I want to take the girls out, so he can sleep in peace while we are rowdy elsewhere!  Anyone have any suggestions of things to do within a 1-1/2 hour drive of French Lick? I am open to suggestions! As for Misty, I haven't heard anything. I did message her sister last night, but haven't had a reply yet.

Hello, All! I'm going to enjoy my beautiful Sunday. I'm off from both jobs today, and loving it. We are going to get our pictures taken for a family picture this afternoon. I haven't had a family picture since last year this time, and I weighed almost 285 pounds then!!! I'm excited to see them when we're done. I got the kids some new clothes last night when I was on break at Sears to wear today. Maggie's got a brown jumper dress with pink polka-dots, with a pink turtleneck underneath, and I got Mike a brown stripped shirt to match.

There was a post about Misty a day or so ago on the main board. I emailed the lady and asked her to post it here to but I dont think she did. ....ill go over and copy and paste it here. I hope she doesnt mind ,but I know you guys want to know how she is also. Misty and I are surgery twins, we has our surgery on the same date and recovered together at St. V's so we have kept in touch by computer and run into each other at follow up visits often. I have spent the last 5 days at St. V's getting hydrated and when I left my room for a walk Wednesday there was Misty in the room next to mine! We chatted for awhile but then I went back to my room. I heard her moaning and got up to check and she was seizing. She is in ICU now and her mom has checked back with me several times a day to update me (and shower, poor lady). They apparently tracked the vomiting trouble to her gall bladder and are supposed to do surgery on Monday or Tuesday if they can get the fever to cooperate. She will also have a feeding tube inserted at that time. She seemed in good spirits today but the fever keeps coming back full strength.  Everybody please keep her in your prayers.

Good Sunday Morning Everyone !!!!
I've been having such an excellent weekend. Started off with dinner with Sherri and Bill Friday night. Saturday I went to a Recovery Anonymous picnic. It had a lot of recovery groups there - AAA, NA, Alanon, and OEA to name a few. I won a free manicure and pedicure during the raffle. It was pretty cool afternoon. Then we had a nice family evening with steaks on the grill and game night. Awesome ! Awesome ! Today is cleaning day. Get the laundry done. Cleaning gutters. Mowing lawn. Weeding. Shampooing carpets. Generally getting as much as we can get done. Have family from out of state coming in next weekend to see Mr Quinntin. He's down to 3 more days till his eviction day, hahah! Welp hope everyone enjoys their Sunday. I'm gonna try to! Jodi

Good Morning!  Got to bed early last night so this morning I hopped out of bed and went to the gym.  I just joined yesterday.  I did two miles on the elliptical and swam a quarter mile.  Soaked in the hot tub and then came home.  I feel great!  I haven't gone to the gym in like 9 months since we moved.  Mom is bringing me some mums she bought me and I'm going to clean around the house and outside.  Hope everyone has a great day!  GO COLTS!!  Sam
