About 4 yr ago, when I had MPlan, I had in 2.5 years of pcp supervised dieting and they wanted me to do an additional 18 months...with the SAME pcp...because they didn't like the way they kept his notes...and no, they would not advise on what about them they didn't like so no idea of what needed improved. I switched to Anthem the next January and Monday will be my 3 year surgiversary. Don't give up...just learn what hoops your insurance wants, and jump through them. Good luck, Sherri

You can ask your PCP to write a statement that they were "supervising" the dietician, therefore it's still doctor supervised.  As long as there's a consult note from the dietician back to the doctor, it might work.  Hey, it's worth a try.
