October 3rd date at St Vincent Carmel

Hi! I am so excited...I got a date of October 3rd for Lap Band at St. Vincent...my doctor is Dr. Diaz...anyone else out there have an Oct 3rd date?

CONGRATS on your date!  mine is Sept. 27...we just will be missing each other  :(  although I DID find a surgery buddy when I went to my nutrition class...maybe will find someone there!

Hope you get your date soon!  I was so inpatient, then I finally got it after only 6 days of getting my approval.  Let me know when you get yours...are you having lap band too?

I also am having Lap Band surgery on October 3.  My MD is Dr Steven Clark.  I am so ready.  I have not had the preop testing or information sesssion yet.  I am kind of concerned about that but they promised to get me in.  Good luck with your surgery and let me know how you do.  Maybe we could compare notes.  Take care,  Barb

Hi Tall, Yep, I'll be at St. V's on Oct 3rd as well for my revision to the Duodenal Switch with Dr. Inman.  I'm pretty sure we'll both be out of it on the 3rd, but maybe we can catch up on the 4th or so. Good luck!
