Yippie!!! It's Saturday!

Not that it means that much difference to me.....I still have to work.  Last night I went to a football game with my girls.....We had a blast, even tho our team was on the slight end of points. There is always next week.  While there, I FINALLY got to meet Jen......it was so great finally meeting you! We will have to get together more often now! My throat hurts so much from screaming and yelling. Now I am supposed to deal for 10 hours on the dice table today, but for some reason, I don't see that happening. I can barely talk now as it is, and talking for that long just isn't in my ability.  On the good note, it is Saturday, so everyone get out and enjoy i*****L!

I love your spirit, LaChelle! I'm spending my saturday on chores, plus a little eyebrow wax.  (fun fun)  My DH is driving 4 hours to pick up some (totally unnecessary) woodworking machinery.  We have a lovely woodshop, but it's more a museum than a workshop.  OK enough griping!  Then we're going out to dinner with friends tonight.  Anyone from Indy area know Bonges Tavern in Perkinsville?  Mmmm ...

HI,  My daughter is on her way here with our grandson- Pappy is seeing to him while us girls go to a Quilt Show and out to have a little "girls time" together. First time in years we have been able to do something by ourselves. I hoep everyone has a great weekend- mine is jam packed with things going on- but I am not complaining- sure beats when I use to sit around and moan 'cause I couldn't get around without my cane or go for long without having to sit & watch the world go by- life is so much "sweeter" now! i can outlast some of my family for a change- like the little engine that could- I CAN!! GOT TO LOVE THE WEEKEND. JIM IS GOING TO WORK ON MY VAN AND HOPEFULLY GET IT GOING. AS FOR ME I AM DOING HOUSE WORK AND LAUNDRY . AND LATER THIS AFTERNOON I THINK I AM GOING TO SEE MY DAD AND GRANDMOTHER( THEY LIVE ON THE SOUTH SIDE) SUNDAY IS MY DO NOTHING DAY. BUT I AM THINKING THAT I MIGHT GIVE THE DOG A BATH AND WORK IN THE YARD A LITTLE . BUT I DONT KNOW YET ABOUT THE YARD WORK . I HOPE ALL HAS A WONDERFUL DAY VICKI

Well, my day is better.  I got to work, and because my throat is so sore, and I am unable to talk, my boss said that I could go on home!  That was fine with me, because I just really didn't feel like talking much today. On a great note, on my way home, I stopped by a yard sale.  I love those things! I found two school desks and chairs in EXCELLENT shape, and grabbed those for my gals! They are so excited that they have already cleaned out their rooms and now put them in. Not bad for $1 EACH! LOL I couldn't have gotten them at any better price ever!   Since it is so beautiful, I think I am going to take the girls to the fall festival in the neighboring town of Paoli.  They will love that!
