Hi everyone, I am home. I got home yesterday afternoon. I'm thinking I would much rather of stayed in there, lol.  Was much easier there then it is here. I mean sleep and eat jello, and drink what can get anybetter then that, well here it seems I hurt, hurt and hurt some more. I mean I seem to do what the yellow sheets say but my body says it doesn't like it at all.  Today I have pretty much live off of ice. Its strange cuz yesteday in the hosopital I said my stomach kept growling and they well u are probably just ready for some full liquids, ewwwwwww now that I have had those my body says no way go back to  the way it was.  I honestly haven't even tried to through my vitimins in loop yet.  Dr Diaz doesnt give out the liquid pain main so I have to sit and mash them up and that is quit nasty lol.  WEll I'm gonna go lay back down for awhile.  My stay at St V's was awesome though, those people are great. Well I'm off here to sleep

Thanks you guys, I'm doing my best to think positive here but with me having the open and my live done too, I'm having so much more pain then alot of you would normally have and its sooooooo discouraging for me.  I cant even stay awake long and i'm back to sleep.  Protien shakes aren't going so well for me either they make me sick,  which is probably not helping with my tiredness at all.  Thank you sooooo much brenda and floyd for comeing to see me in the hospital and your basket of goodies were great too.  I try to keep thinking positive that things are gonna get better but its not an easy thing at the moment.  Well hope you all have a good day.

Ulisha, Oh sweetie- you must be hurtin' and I will pray something fierce for ya. As for the protien thing- Have you tried Nectar? Both my DH(who uses it to gain muscle) and I both like the more liquidy kind better because you don't have gag it down. Also remember that 8 oz. of skim milk has 9 grams of protien, no fat, 13g of lactose which shouldn't upset your tummy because it's leveled off with the protein. If you add No Sugar Added Carnation instant breakfast you got your magical 15g per serving. It might help. I'm sure being in pain is driving you mad and being down gets really boring. Don't beat yourself up either....your body needs time to heal from open surgery. Sleep is needed to regenerate cells. Try new proteins. Don't be down on yourself. You're an army wife too and we are strong stuff. I believe in you. Hugs and more hugs, Angie
