Photo appointment for new pictures

We were in WalMart yesterday and decided to setup an appointment for photo's.  Actually the wife decided.  She wants a new avatar picture up on the board.  I am not sure I am ready for this.  I still at times see my reflection in a window and wonder who that is!  Anyone else feel that way? A person can get very comfortable with how they look and feel. I am feeling better now then I have for years.  The skin sags and would not want to get in a bathing suit for now but do go to the gym and fight the embarrassment of obvious sagging flesh.  It will get better and if PS is necessary will consider it. Eluca, I've also thought it was probably time for a new pic of you! Don't shy away from the camera! Embrace it!!! You may have skin...but's it's loose skin, not full of fat skin!

I have pictures of me at all stages of my journey on the partitions by my desk. They serve several purposes. 1.  It is a quick reminder to me of when I was once upon a time and 2. It lets people know that I'm still the same Sherri. Sherri

I'm so glad your wife insisted you get your photo taken. I had mine taken by my Hubby or friends quite alot thru my journey, and still look at them to remind me where I came from& how much my life has improved- physically, emotionally, and spiritually since WLS. I'll look forward to seeing the current U!! (((hugs))) Ellen
