I have been trying to get my DH to show me if he is supportive of my wls.  I didn't really think he was until just a few minutes ago.  He and I both have MySpace pages, and he likes to blog on there.  He posted a blog awhile ago, and this is the entire blog..........

"I would just like to take the time and say that i am very proud of my wife, lachelle for everything she is doing to get her weight-loss surgery going. She is working very hard on it and sticking with it. I know that it will make her feel better about herself, and healthier. I just wanted her to know that even tho i dont show it, im proud of her. If you are reading this, then please go to lachelles page and give her kudos for her efforts. It is something that she has wanted for a long time, and i hope that it will turn out the way she wants it to. love ya hun." I just started crying, because it showed me that I really do have his support! That is the best part of my day!  I hope that everyone else has a wonderful support from their family and friends!  It is what really counts!  We all may show support on here, but to have the love and support of our own loved ones makes all the difference in the world!

"Amen and pass the Sugar Free jello" (I use to say biscuits...lol)   My wonderful hubby is so supportive of me...I think he is my anchor...I am so up and down...seems like I was sooo anxious while waiting on my approval..and now that I have it...counting down the days till surgery...I am getting nervous...and he keeps reminding me WHY I wanted this surgery...and how much he is behind me 100%... and we have only been married 10 1/2 months... thumbs up to your DH and all those DH's out there who love us unconditionally!

Lord, keep me in your will so I won't be in your way.

That is great!!! It is sometimes hard for our hubbys to say these things to us but we need to hear them,,, and having the support is what makes this surgery so much easier.. My hubbys blood work sooo much better his fat is down to 100, mine is 116!! so much better than the 270's we used to have... and he STILL has a bowl of icream every night before bed... a teaspoon makes me sick!! I am not sure about my DH. At times he is ok with it, then there is times that he says I dont want to hear anymore about the surgery.  Maybe I do talk about it a lot Oh well!  I think he is supportive, he just dont like to let on like it.

After my date was scheduled and all my DH started getting grumpy any time my surgery was mentioned I think it was a defense mechanism because he was scared. That didn't mean he supported me any less the day of and hes been great since, I seriously think all spouses go through this phase.
