It's The Weekend!

Hope everyones' Saturday goes great.  I have to work, so I know I will have fun!  It is supposed to rain again today, so hopefully that will make the casino even busier than normal! Hope one day eveyone on the boards can come down to French Lick, and visit me! Off to the showers. Have a great day!

Good Morning to all as well.  I  to am stuck here at work.  It definately looks like rain.  Today just kind of feels like a day where you just want to crawl under the covers and stay there.  it is very quiet here at work today.  Hopefully it will pick up.  I hate being bored.  Well I wish everyone a pleasant day and a wonderful rest of the weekend. hi there.... today is busy for me....i have a family reunion at 11:30...then at 3pm i'm shooting a wedding in tell city....and as soon as i'm done around 8pm i'm off to heritage hills to see my son's band perform in the contest (they go on at 9:18 pm)....so it's a day packed with stuff to do. YAY!!! lol i'm feeling good...need to clean my house, but oh well, it'll have to wait today is my daughter's 10th birthday...she is spending the day in indy with my mom shopping though because i had this wedding to do and tomorrow we are having her a party here....should be fun.... ok, i'm off of here for now....hope everyone has a WONDERFUL saturday! hugs jen

I am getting off here in a minute and getting dressed and cleaning this den.. then I am going to scrape a place in the sparebedroom wall spackle and get it ready to paint.. play with a few grandkids then take the rest of the day off... Have a great one people! Linda Kay

Morning everyone, Oh it was so nice being able to sleep in today.  Could've slept longer, but those darn dogs wanted to eat.  lol  We're about ready to get dressed and go see Ulisha on the way to the Tipton Pork Festival.  I'll post when we get home.  Hope the rains holds off until later in the day. Hi everyone,      I just got back from helping at our Lioness bake Sale- geez, it all looked icky to me- what a change from a few short yrs. ago, when all I wanted to do was EAT THE PROFITS!~~~ THANK THE GOOD LORD!!!!! I made several  SF. items using Splenda, and they sold fast! Seems like more people are looking for a healthy alternative as well! They are having a social at the Library today for the dedication of the Fountian~ it is so beautiful!! If I can, I'll post a photo of it on here. The original stood in the center of town for yrs. until the Str. rd. 47 came thru.    Dana is re-making an old bench for me, and the yard is beginning to shape up- without my help. Just gotta leave that stuff  to the guys- even though I want to do it! I plan on going to a couple of garage sales and see if I can find some "dollys" for Willow to play with- she wants to play together when here, and Grammy only has one- time to hit the sales!  The Drs. have said that if Amy keeps up, she should make it for 4 more weeks. The babies are doing well, and she is miserable- of course! Hopefully the middle of Oct. they will decide when to do the C-section. Well, gotta get off here & get a few things done. We got up at 6, and was at the RV place by 8:15 so they could fix a few things. Now I think we're free until tonight...when we go to the 31st annual Figure 8 races at the Speedrome. I hope we don't get rained out!! You all stay dry!! Sherri
