I had my vist.with Dr.Mattar,and Ruthanne and thier pshc.Dr. mattar wants to get a few more tests and a sleep apnea test. then HE WILL GIVE ME A SURGERY DATE.   i CANT WAIT . I REALLY LIKE HIM AND HIS STAFF AT CLARIEN BARITRICS..........I WENT TO THE SUPPORT MEETING LAST NIGHT WITH MY DAUGHTER TOO. AND MET BRENDA AND FLOYD  .THAT WAS NICE....SO NOW EVERY THING ON THE WAY..

That's good to hear. My current surgeon, Dr Lord recommended Dr Mattar to me since I will be moving to Indy in a few weeks. It is always good to get first hand information. I am glad you had a good experience today. I look forward to meeting you at a future support meeting.

Hi,  Sorry I didn't get to meet you personally last night- I was back getting signed up for the newsletter.  I also was so impressed with Dr. Matter & the Clarian Bariatric staff. Having only been exposed to the St.V's staff's approach, it was really a totally differant, refreshing meeting.  I wish you all the best as you go on  journey to recovery! (((hugs))) Ellen

I have transferred my care to Dr Mattar and he is absolutely wonderful.  He didn't do my surgery, I am a transfer from Arizona, but knows the doctor who did the WLS.  I had been having some problems and he even called me personally the next week after my appointment with him to see how I was.  I've only had a doctor do that once before.  He's top notch and so is Ruthanne.  The Clarian Bariatric has got to be one of the best around for patient care.  You are in excellent hands.
