Hi all! I got some of the greatest deals at that sidewalk sale I worked at yesterday. The clothes were discounted, 60% off on top of that, and then I got my 20% employee discount. WooHoo. I was picking things out all day. What fun.  Today I have to probably pick a fight with Terre Haute Ford/Kia. My hubby got a brand new Kia there in May. This is the THIRD time it's been into the shop there. Now the back door won't latch shut again. This was the same problem as the SECOND time it was in. You can't drive around in a car with the door popping open. Especially when it's the back door, next to the little one's carseat. I am going to ask for a loaner until this can be fixed. Ask nicely at first then demand if they don't follow through. I mean, last time they 'fixed' the door, we had to wait a week on parts. That's a week of one car for all intents and purposes. That just doesn't work with our schedules. Grr. If they don't get it fixed right, we're thinking about checking out the lemon laws here in Indiana. They might have to take it back.

Good morning all! Ugh! Back to work!! LOL! So far, all I've done was fill out FMLA paperwork for my plastics. I'm so tickled that I get to finally do that!!! I'm going to be faxing all the stuff to Dr. Bergman's in a few minutes. Linda..congrats on the terrific sales! Also, good luck with your car. You shouldn't have any problems geting a loaner from the same place you bought the car from. I get one every time my Durango is in the shop..and I bought it used, but at the same dealer's that I take it to for service. You all have a good day! Sherri

Thank goodness I have today off! I have to spend all day waiting in line at the DMV to liscense my vehicle here in Indiana.  I have been trying to get this done for weeks, but had to wait on KY and IL to send the title and registration in!  Go figure, us having to wait on the state government and the DMV! hahaha  At least I don't have to pay the same amt. that I did when I bought the old clunker a couple years ago.....Illinois is the most rediculous state to pay vehicle taxes in. Enough about that mess, hope everyone's Tuesday goes well.  Have a great one, and ttyl!

Linda, I had this problem with my malibu when i bought it 3 years ago and i went into great detail with the lemon law. I tonly applies to NEW cars that you buy off the lot... not used. SO if you bought it used you're out of luck. YOu didn't say if you did or not. If you bought it new it has to be in a minimum of 3 times for the same thing before it takes effect and they should give you a loaner car... I had to go into the dealership and scream at the top of my lungs (literally ) to get them to fix my car... but it worked...

GRRRRRRRR! I hate state offices sometimes.  I just got off the phone with my local DMV, and they have LOST my registration papers and title. Now I have no legal tags on my car until they can find them again.  My temp tags for Indiana have now expired, and they only issue 2, so now, I am done with those......and can't get another. What in the world do they tell me..........."I don't know what to do. I guess you will just have to figure that out yourself!"   Now my blood is boiling. They had better be calling me back as soon as they find the papers, just like they have promised! LOL  Will be on later with an update!

Aaarrggghhh! Back to work.  Sinuses giving me fits.  The tickle in the back of my throat tells me there is something brewing.  Spritzing Zicam to kill it before it becomes a full-fledged cold.

I'll just sit here quietly and try not to breathe on any of you. Good news!  Incisions are healing well.  I go back for my follow up with Dr Bergman next Wednesday.  I just might be ready for my "after" pictures.   Linda, Don't you just love sales!  We went to the outlet mall in Edinburgh and I cleaned out Coldwater Creek.  The prices were amazing! Take care!

OMG, I didn't know there was a Coldwater Creek outlet in Edinburgh.  Is that the one near Columbus??  I'm finding out and going there for sure. Kim

That's the one!   South on 65.  The store is on the eastern most row of stores.  You can see the back of it from the highway.  Today I am wearing a cute woven and embroidered jacket that I got for 24.99, it was originally 119.00.   Gotta love the outlet mall!!!

Hi everyone,  What a LABOR day weekend- boy am I ever glad it is over . Yesturday just loafed around- had to go get groceries- "Mother Hubbard's cubbards were bare"- no toilet paper, etc!!! yikes, my checkbook is crying! The kids all got home ok, and Dana & I watched "Bridge to Terabithia" together- it wasn't what we expected- but so good! really atayed true to the book- which was so good ,especially for kids. My grandsons saw it Sat. nite & loved it- talked about it several times throughout the weekend. I/we were still so wore out from the IRP & all of the activities that we both just didn't feel like doing anything but sit & read or watch tv. Today, I got a call form the school- seems Hunter ( our 7yr. old grandson-Amy & Tony's boy)was confused as to whether he'd taken his ADHD meds. & was having a hard morn.  I went & checked- he did take them, so we went & talked to teacher-they must expect a total change in a few days! We told them the Dr. said it would be atleast a week before any real changes set in.He does seem alot more focused, less easily mad at himslef/others cause he "didn't do it right, understand". His focas ability has been so low, & i do see him improving. The plus side is Pappy is picking him up from school today, so that got a big smile on his face!Amy is in full bed rest mode now, so grandpa & i are pitch hitting for them.  I have to go get the rest of the items for our big raffle my sorority puts on along with our Fall Tour of Homes here in Boone Co. I have a wonderful Longaberger Basket full of items, cift certificates to decorate & get ready for our meeting tonight. I just wish I could afford a ton of tickets & win it- there is over $750.00 worth of "goodies" in it! *Floyd, I pm.d you! *Linda- yell all you want & DO  get that loaner- they need to see if theres been a recall on it-it is totally unsafe!!! *Sherri- it won't be long for you now & your new you begins!! *LaChelle- hang in there gal, hopefully they will get there heads straight & figure out what is going on- you deserve to be upset!Darn DMV!! ***Annette & Linda--oh girls- I'm soooo jealoushee~hee- I need some new duds so bad- just haven't had the $ to go shopping & missed the last clothing exchange- my clothes are hanging on me & some still too small- oh well, atleast my butt is covered-hee~hee!!!! Gotta get off here & get moving! (((hugs))) Ellen
