Going Back To Work
You only have one life to live, but if lived right, it's the only one you need!
Lachelle 1. If you have to you can get a perscription from your Dr. that states that you are to have liquid with you at all times. Your employer will have to honor it. 2. My Co-Workers were supportive, They knew how bad i wanted to have the surgery and they were great. They knew it was for my health and I needed to do it. 3. My Boss was very supportive too, when i made the decision to do the surgery i ask her if i could talk to her in private, i told her of the medical issues i had been having and that i had seen a bariatric surgeon and was submitting my info to insurance, she thought it was great that i was taking this step to improve not only my life but my career and work performance. 4. My co workers still after 2 years and not much loss for several months, tell me how great i look, I think i am treated a little different by the general public too. i know some of it is my own attitude but it seems people are friendlier. I still have heavy friends and they are very supportive, some of them would like to have surgery and some dont care to at all. You will have many questions and thats a good thing, we have all had different experiences and you will feel better if you gather all the info you can. Good Luck, Hugs, Carla
