HELP

HI Everyone, I am from the Cincinnati area and am coming to Indianapolis for my state boards in Medical Assisting.  I am taking the test at Kaplan College on Woodland which is off of 465 and 71st Street, can anyone there tell me about hotels?,,,,,I am having a hard time locating one that is nice but not too much $$$$$$$$................ There is a Red Roof at 465 and I74 Speedway area that is noce might try there.  It is only about 30 min. for 71st street.

Maybe you could try calling Kaplan College and asking them if they have any hotels around them.

what weekend are you comiing up? that could have something to do with the price... you can look at hotels off of Crawfordsville road, rockville road, and anything near the airport. That will take you about 20 minutes to get there. I work right next to the kaplan college and live in that area I just named off. All of those areas are right near I 465 which is what you take to the college

After looking at Yahoo travel Red Roof Greenwodd is cheaper and really not that far away.

At 465 & 38th, there use to be a Ramada. Try going to Yellowpages.com and putting in the zip code, motels/hotels/and within ~15 miles. Enjoy your time here in Indy! Sherri

I have to travel to Indianapolis a lot because of my job.  I have a secret that I will share with you.  It's called priceline.com. I usually need to go downtown so that's the area I put in.  It gives you the choices.  I always put 5 star and enter my own price of $50.  IT'S NEVER BEEN REFUSED!  It's usually $64.95 I think after taxes.  I used it in Carmel too when I had my first meeting with Dr. Diaz.  I stayed at the doubletree for $50.  It's not a 5 star (there aren't any in the area) but it still costs a lot more than $50 to stay there. I highly recommend using it!  As I said, there's always one place that accepts my offer. Hope it helps. Jacqui
