Dr. Diaz called me today

Well Dr Diaz called me today about my liver and the MRI. I actually have 2 spots on my liver one is called a adenoma and the other he said was a cyst but thinks that it is a hemangioma and is about 11 mm in size. The day of the surgery he said the large one (the only one he could see) was going to be taken off, but today he said the adenoma would be the one coming out, I think I might have gotten this confused today, lol. I was just so excited that they weren't something really serious. Heather is going to schdule me for a doppler ultrasound which will show him the blood flow through these and then I can have my surgery he says sometime this week. He said he doesn't for see anything showing up in the ultrasound that would keep him from doing the open rny and and removing my a small part of the lower segment of the liver. So I am very happy. Now if Heather is quick and calls back I will be back on my way. I was very surprised that Dr Diaz called himself, never had a doctor call me himself before, He is just soooo nice, very glad he is doing the surgery. All right I guess I have rambled enough. I will let everybody know when my new date and time is.

I'm so happy for you and you are right Dr. Diaz is a sweetie. He did my lap rny on 08/01/07 and he was so attentive afterwards. His whole office staff is wonderful and I recovered very quickly by following his instructions. He is always cheerful and never seems like he is in a rush like other doctors who never have time to talk to you. I hope everything goes well and you are on the loser's bench soon!

Hi Ulisha, I got home last night from St V's. Everything for me went very well.  i am glad to read that your surgery is only experiencing a short delay.   The staff at St V's are really outstanding and you will be in good hands.  Keep us posted.  You are in our prayers. Jeff

Thanks you guys, I'm praying that, the sweet heather has time to schedule me to day, she'll probably be glad when I'm done and over so she doesnt have to hear me on her voice mail again lol.  Although my husband as decided to pass he's cold on to me, so a stuffy nose, a cough, and a itchy throat is going on here, so I'm gonna force all kinds of vitiam C down cuz I dont want any more delays, my job will just love me if it longer before i get back   I was so wanting to be able to race you down the hall too Jeff, lol, I'm kidding.  Its great to hear it all went so well for you.
