Abbreviation Help Please

Since I am so new to the board, I have seen several abbreviations that have me clueless as to what they mean. If someone could please post the answers, I would greatly appreciate it! LOL Also, information about "angels" would be great too.  I know I am asking alot of questions, but since I have joined, I have found several friends, and gotten one of my dear friends to join also, and we have been comparing notes about the site.  The abbreviations were the biggest questions we had about the board.  We haven't been that much "computer savvy" to understand them! LaChelle, Don't think I've had the chance to welcome you to the Indiana Board.  Glad to see you on here.  I'm not sure what abbreviations you're referring to so can't answer to that.  Send me a personal if you have a list and I'll be happy to answer best I can.  Whenever you have a question, feel free to let it fly.  Someone will be more than happy to answer you.  Usually an "angel" is someone who looks over you, especially at the time of your surgery.  They are someone who can be in contact with your family so they can give us all a report on how you're doing.  My wife and I have been trying to visit some of the people at St. V's when they have surgery.  It's nice to meet people that you "chat" with.   Floyd

dh = dear (danged, depending on mood) husband dd = dear daughter ds = dear son  or  when capitalized DS = type of WLS WLS = weight loss surgery PS = plastic surgery/surgeon GBS = gastric bypass surgery LB = lap band Any others???

I always thought DH meant D*CK/DUMB HUSBAND!! I am happy someone asked this!!! PCP is that primary care physican??
