Well I guess it is time for the old man to check in and make my report on weight loss. My starting weight when I decided to have WLS was sitting at 475 lbs.  Even though the weight was sitting there, I was sitting in a wheel chair.  I have not been back in that wheel chair since two months out. Had my surgery on Nov 5, 2005 so I am at about 22 months out and my current weight is: 219 lbs.  That means I have lost 256 lbs since I started this journey.  I am really half the man I use to be! I am really hoping that by Christmas this year I will down below the 200 mark.   Here lately I have been looseing two to three pounds every couple of weeks. Dan

If you have a prayer request whether WLS or personal, please visit our website at www.packardministries.org and click on PRAYER or email me at [email protected]

You will  be added to our daily prayers.   One of our ministry objectives is to support those having or had WLS.   Pastor Dan

You may weigh less but you could NEVER be half the man!! If anything you have sprouted into such a wonderfully big man!!! Since your weight loss surgery you have gotten out and with the loving assistance of your wife you h ave begun spreading peices of yourself into so many lives that once tuouched  by you and Ann people are never the same. God really Did Bless you with your WLS but being skinny was just bonus. God Bless you always!! Linda Kay
