ponderosa---

my family and i went to ponderosa today after going to a flea market and city wide g sales in potrtland--they all wanted ponderosa well i thought id just get something to drink well i was very shocked they had nothing to ofer me excep****er---no decaff tea no sugar free lemonaide oh that really pissed me of they offer decaf coffee why not tea?????they were like we got diet pepsi im like NO im not allowed that i just had baratric surgery---they were like im sorry i was like FINE i guess water will do---i cant believe that at all------------dont they care about others diets?

You may be surprised that most the restaurants don't have decaf tea. I just quit asking and order water w/lemon everywhere I go.

They do have milk at pondo, or you can ask for lemon and have water and lemon, I have taken up a second job and ponderosa is me new second job.  I usually drink water and lemon and sweetenlow.  But I know they have milk so you can get your drink and protin both Lisa B

I want to add something... I used to work at Boston market and in the decaf they ALWAYS put regular... I have not worked there in 4 years so who knows... I know LOTs has changed.... Keep that in mind! EDIT: I would only get decaf drinks out of the machines... I know it sounds stupid but people tend to get the decaf and regular confused... I really hope this stuff never happens to anyone... If I was you guys I would only drink water at somewhere like that or bring your own 20 oz... that way you know...

I haven't had my surgery yet so this may not be any help at all. I have always been a decaf, diet drinker.  In smalltown, In (Rockport) we have very little restaurants to choose from much less beverage choices.   I always keep the "on the go" packets in my purse to mix in my water.  I love the walmart brand ones.  They have a lot more flavors than crystal lite.  The walmart grape is my favorite.  DH and DD like the cherry limeade flavor.  We keep a basket of different flavors on our kitchen counter. thats a smart idea maybe i should start that put some in my purse for cases like that--so, who is your surgeon?i see your surgery is in oct--well good luck to you---mine was 8-8 and im still going through mixed emotions right now i struggle every day to get my fluids in and still cant i can only get about 20-25 ounces a day-- but good luck in your up coming surgery~~~``
