Scheduling with Dr. Gupta

I was just wondering if there is anyone out there that has Dr. Gupta that just recently got a surgery date.  I was just kind of curious about an approximate date that they  may be at.  If they are in October or if they are still in September.  Anyone know? Jenny

I've had my date since mid July and it's September 19th.....

I met with Dr Gupta in July 07 and was accepted as a patient. I am a self payer so I was told as soon as I paid I'd get a date for my surgery. After I paid the Carmel Surgical Specialist and the hospital I was told Dr Gupta was on maternity leave. I could stay with Dr Gupta and have surgery late October or switch to her partner and have surgery Sept 4th. I was very disappointed and upset but I deceided to meet with her partner. After meeting her partner and researching her I decided to take the Sept 4th date and opted to not wait on Dr Gupta.

I wonder if you switch to another Dr in the same practice if you have to have new paperwork sent to your insurance company with the new doctor and play the waiting game again. Do you know?

So generally speaking, it looks like they are scheduling approximately 2 months out.
