Happy Friday all! How are you all doing? I'm doing fine. I lost a pound today! WooHoo. Down to 175. I am officially 110 pounds less than I was when I had surgery. That feels good to know. My mind is still having a hard time catching up. Sometimes I forget I don't NEED the extra space in the handicapped stall in the restrooms. Stuff like that. Other people notice that too?  The next step in the house process is the appraisal. It has to appraise for atleast the value we are offering for it. I don't think that will be a problem. The mortgage guy thinks we can close in 10-15 days. WooHoo!

Hi everyone,- OWWWW_ I went tro see Dr. Inman yesturday &she reopened my incisions because she took the drain tube out too soon, & had a ton of fluid come out- so I am sore as a boil today!!! She did apologize for taking it out so soon, but thought I'd do ok- not! Also, said my skin is so thin she thought I'd have a slower recovery &  she listened to my right lung & ordered a right  side x-ray, to make sure I haven't gotten anything going on in there. Now, on to healing- I hope!!!! ***Linda- I am so excited for you- I know how much it means to be  able to NOT HAVE TO--- use the handicap parking tag & park up by the door anymore; use handicap facilitiesonly ;sit in a resturant in the aisle cause I can't fit into the booth; feel comfortable looking in the reg. size dept. & not be stared at~~I use to go shopping for my daughters & get stares, which ~~WAS MY IMAGINIATION-"STINKING THINKING" going on!!! You"ll experience a ton of nw things & see big changes along the way- some big & small victiories you never thought till they actually happen! Good luck on the house- my daughter turned over thhere house yesturday- the folks even asked for the lawn mower & bird bath. I just hope things move as quickly as they did for Penny & Mike- 9 days! Can't wait to see your new home posted on here with you & your family on that cute front porch!!!! ***TODAY-Penny is taking her Mom in law shopping ( can't drive, but in remission & has had her first haircut- so cute & going dk, blonde next week- she hates her grays!) I am getting that x-ray, & then taking Amy to have a 1 hr. gestational diebetes test at Dr's. office- 6 more weeks for babys to be born locally- keep those prayers coming! she is doing pretty well now that she RESTS, and has gained 32# so far. The Dr. will set up the next ultrasound while we are there. Then i'm coming home & going thru mounds of papers, mag. articles, etc. I have stored in my baskets till they are over flowing by my chairs.  Have a great day everyone, it is suppose to be cooler tomorrow- goody- that's moving day for Penny & the kids & the guys hope to be on there way back today!!!!! I miss my honey, & heating pad at night-hee~hee!!!!!!**I did add some new photos on my profile from our vacation & my new Red Hat outfit by our pond, if you want to check them out. ((((hugs))) Ellen

Oh that darned gestational diabetes test!   It especially sucked for me because of dumping.  and they make you keep drinking it til you can keep it down for an hour. GOOD NEWS!  I found joey this morning!   He seems to be okay for the most part.  Doesn't look starved or anything.  He has a few burrs in his coat and is pretty tired.  He didn't even beeline for the food bowl when we got back, he just wants to snooze near me.  Thanks to all of you who prayed for my puppy to come home!  Now maybe I can relax a little and enjoy life again.  I've been worried literally sick (mostly dry heaves), and I've only had one BM since we got here.   TIme to chill out and relax with my COMPLETE family!

Thank you, God for getting me to Friday.   This has been ONE LONG WEEK.   My first week back to work following PS.  Boy, am I tired!   I'm heading for home soon and putting my feet up.  If I eat, someone will have to fix it and bring it to me...they may have to chew it for me too.

Nitey nite!

Annette
I can eat as much as I want...I just don't want much.
I'm ashamed of what I did for a Klondike bar...
