Per Sherri - Baby Shower Gift Drop Off In Indy

Let me start by saying that no way is this topic meant to come across as angry, bitter, or to hurt anyones's feelings. I am just trying to clear up a misunderstanding of miscommunication in regards to the baby shower my sister is throwing me. A few people have mentioned to Sherri that they didn't get invites to my baby shower this weekend. When I made my post about wanting addressess to send invites only a four people responded so those were the people that my sister sent invites too. I posted last month that if anyone was interested in wanting to come or to drop off gifts because they couldn't attend to contact my sister and gave her personal cell number, her work address and work number. I'm really really REALLY sorry that some of you were expecting to recieve invites but never did, but all I got was 4 people's addresses and not a word from anyone else. I did not intentionally mean to send out a vibe that I was ingnoring people that wanted to come. I just never heard from any other people other then the people that did contact me. Do to the prospected weather (severe thunderstorms) my sister pulled the shower inside to a house based on the number of RSVP's she already has, but said that when she talks to Sherri - after Sherri returns from Vacation - that if there are enough people here interested she would be willing to put together another baby shower so that everyone here on our board could attend in Indy. She also offered again - that if anyone wanted to drop off gifts for the shower this weekend they could do so at the Check N Go located on Emerson in Beech Grove. Both myself and my sister sincerely apologize for any miscommunication that may have came from our end and are sorry we hurt anyone's feelings. Jodi

Hi Jodi, I'm so sorry I didn't get back to you.  I have been so busy lately that I haven't been on the board much and completely missed your shower post.  I knew it should be coming up, but never caught when.  I'm very sorry I missed it.

I AM SORRY to... I know you havent had time to notice but I just havent left messages here very often lately... I am not trying to ignore people but having family difficulties and depression from the new job I am stuck with.. MAN I do hope that picture of you is stretched!! He looks like he is going to be a line backer!!! I too knew that shower had to be close but didnt see the post MY BAD. I did not purposely ignore you..you can personally send to my email your phone number and the next time I come up to Crawfordsville... well...I will drop by with your baby persent... It isnt an aftgan... I have 4 to do this winter...1great nephew. and 3 great greats!!! 1 due in Nov 2 in Dec and 1 in Feb... I have been busy with theirs... Aunt Linda HAS to do theirs since they still have the ones I mad them!!! Bless you and best of luck with the delivery!! Linda
