Do you like the sugarfree popsicles? Those helped me TONS getting my fluid in right after surgery... try those and see if they help. I didn't have much urine output either until about 4-5 weeks after surgery, I went pee one time a day and it was very dark so I'm sure I was alittle dehydrated.... and believe me the last thing you want to go for is dehydration... sip sip sip... wake yourself up and sip sip sip... that was the hard thing for me right after is i was so tired I seriously would set the alarm so I would get up throughout the night and sip liquid...
Dehydration is a dangerous thing. You are showing all the signs of dehydration. The only cure is to take in more liquids. Keep a bottle of water in your hand at all times. You will find yourself drinking out of habit if it is in your hand. Jessyca is right about the popsicles. Try Crystal Light or Isopure over shaved ice. My ice shaver was the best purchase I made and kept me from dehydrating.
Keep in mind that liquids are needed to flush the fat from your body. You won't lose weight if you don't drink enough.

I can eat as much as I want...I just don't want much.
I'm ashamed of what I did for a Klondike bar...
I had a hard time keeping up with my fluids in the beginning too. I found that I had to force myself to keep up with fluids. I would keep my sippy to my mouth and nurse away. It seemed like it was a long time before I would pee more than a dribble.
You have to have your drink with you constantly. Not drinking 30 min before and after makes it hard when you're in little sippy sip phase. You literally have to sip constantly when you're awake!!!
If you pinch the skin on your hand and it doesn't bounce back right away, then you are pretty dehydrated and should probably call the doctor. They'll give you iv fluids and such.
It'll get easier honey! I promise!
