I had Dr Kaderabek... Honestly... If you don't know anything about medicine, and you haven't done your research... I would NOT recommend him for a dr... He's very thorough but is not very empathetic. He doesn't have a great bed side manner and directly to the point. He leaves most everything up to your family physician to manage after surgery such as the medicines that you are on right now, and wehther or not you should continue to take them or if any new meds pop up that you need to take.. As far as the bariatric coordinator at his office. She is a ***** and I hope I never have to speak with her again. There have been several people here that have had surgery with him. Two had some serious complications (which I might add is a risk of this surgery no matter who your surgeon is) however most of us did not feel that he empathized with these people very well.. I have had no issues (thank God) and have sailed through. I know 2 other people outside this board thta had him and did wonderful. Again, I think in order to have him as your surgeon you need to be VERY direct with him, ask him VERY pointed and precise questions, and it's definitely going to be up to you to get these questions out, he's not going to volunteer the information. With that said, i think he did a great job on my surgery and I couldn't be happier. However, there are several other Dr's at St V"s that I would recommend to most people first. Good luck!!!

Didn't have Dr. K myself, but didn't Gail have him? She's had a few complications herself.

The main reason I did not go with Dr. K was in my research I found out thatt he was not versed in the laprascopic procedure and his method mainly is to do an open surgery. I wanted laprascopic if possible and I found that Dr. Huse had the best and longest success record. I couldn't have been happier! I see him today for my 18 month check up and I can't wait for him to see my results from plastic surgery from 5 weeeks ago! Keep researching until you find the right one for you! Hugs! Marianne

Vicki, I haven't taken any pictures of me since my plastic surgery. I see Doc again in October and she will take my 3 month "after" pics. She said I can have a copy of my before and after ones then. I was going to post them then in a special password file so others can see my before and after as the Dr. Actually took them. I am healing so well and every day I am happier than the day before with the results. I never thought I would ever have a body like this and I am soooo enjoying it! Hugs! Marianne
