The morning after

I'm beat.  The party was a smashing success even if it did start to rain around 8:00 and some people started to leave.  We went thru 22 pounds of sloppy joes, 120 hot dogs, 5 cans of baked beans and lots of veggies and fruit. (and 6 pans of brownies)We estimated  about 110 people came this year. It is a lot of work but everyone has such a good time it is worth it.  We didn't get to bed until 2am after getting everything cleaned up and put away.  I thought I'd sleep in this morning but I was so tired from being on my feet all day yesterday I started getting charlie horses in my legs in bed around 8 thim morning and had to get up and start walking.  I'm going to mop the kitchen floor now and do nothing the rest of the day.  Now it is time to veg out and it looks like rain all day here anyway.  You all have a good sunday

Jan, I'm so glad your party was a success! We had talked about going but it was about 7 by the time we got home from our day of RV window shopping. What a way to get in exercise...climbing stairs into 2008 A class motorhomes and going 'ooooohhhhh......aaaahhhhh'. lol. We were exhausted, but our minds were going full speed...'how can we afford....'. Trust me, NOT a 2008! Someday though, I would love to come up and see all that beautiful land, the horses, and the water you like to float around in! Sherri

Jan,  Wow, thats alot of work, & food- hope others helped you! Sounds like a blast. Dana & I will try to get there next yr. May have to plan a campout with Sherri & Bill,Floyd & Brenda, Cheryl & John, whoever else wants to go- (gosh we had a ball at our Camapout) & come up for the weekend! Your place sounds like a little piece of heaven on earth~(how many hookups did you say you have-HEE~HEE!!! don't go into shock~JK- how far is Hope's campground from you???! Take time today to rest & enjoy it!  Not doing much of anything today & calling the Dr. tomorrow- have an angry red area that opened up & is infected-YIKES!  Got to go,  (((hugs))) Ellen
