TGIF

Good morning everyone! I am SOOOOO glad it is finally Friday! This has just seemed like a really long and horrible week!  Medically,  there was all that with the mammagram deal & the blood draw/stolen truck deal. Then waiting anxiously for Dr. Bergman to call me back.  At work, my boss is waiting for all these reports and I am procrastinating BIG TIME! I'm fine once I get started writing a report...it's that 'getting started' I have a problem with! Ugh! Thankfully, he's taking 1/2 the day off today! LOL! Don't get me wrong, I haven't been doing nothing. I have been doing anything I can to not do them I think though. So...today, I HAVE to get my butt in gear (now that my training is all caught up, I've helped Puerto Rico with their lab model issues, I've order lab supllies, etc)!

At home, Bill had been a little testy & needy this week. He had a really good fitting for new glasses yesterday though so last night, he seemed a little bit better.

Kids and grandkids are doing fine. Other family...I got a snotty text message from my 'mother' yesterday 'thanking me for supporting her during the time that her & my step-day were separated'. I guess he came back to her. What-ever. I sent her a note back asking where the support was for me when my son had cancer, my husband was blind, etc. No, not a word back. I hope she deletes my cell number. Hmmm...I am looking forward to girl's day Ellen!!!! I sure hope you are feeling better today! Have a great Friday! Sherri

Good morning everyone! Well, still no sign of my dog .  I'm going to go down to animal control this afternoon to take a look around and if he has been picked up by animal control.  I sure hope he has.  It thunderstormed big time here last night, and he is SO petrified of thunder.  My heart just aches for him, and i have a hard time thinking of anything else. In other "fantastic" news, the radiator on my jeep is officially dead.   Thankfully we got here , and thankfully my brother hasn't left yet and will be able to put one in for us today.  UNfortunately, that was a huge chunk of change that we didn't really have to drop.  What can ya do? I'm so happy to have found a whole foods market here.  Such a great choice of foods.  Tomorrow I'll be trying young pea sprouts and sunflower sprouts out in my salad.  I hope they are yummy!  For now it's time to get some protein in!  Have a great day!

AHHHHH FRIDAY THE MOST WONDERFUL DAY OF THE WEEK. NOT MUCH PLANNED FOR THE WEEKEND. I THINK JIM AND I ARE GOING TO GO WALK AROUND THE STATE FAIR SATURDAY AND HE IS GOING TO HAVE SOME FAIR FOOD I AM GOING TO SMELL IT.LOL I MIGHT FIND SOMETHING I CAN HAVE BUT NOT GOING TO WORRY ABOUT IT IF I DONT. I JUST LIKE GOING TO WALK AND SEE EVERYTHING,. WE WANTED TO GO LAST WEEKEND BUT IT WAS SO DANG HOT AND THIS WEEKEND IS GOING TO BE NICE . I HAVE A SMALL BACKPACK I CAN CARRY SOME WATER IN SO I DONT HAVE TO BUY IT THERE. THEY CHARGE AN ARM AND LEG FOR ICE NOW DAYS .  SHERRI I KNOW EXACTLY WHAT YOU MEAN ABOUT A MOTHER THAT IS LIKE THAT I HAVE ONE AS WELL. I JUST TELL MYSELF I AM BETTER OFF WITH OUT THAT KIND IN MY LIFE. I JUST THANK GOD I HAVE A DAD I LOVE AND WHO SUPPORTS ME 150%.

Yes TGIF. I sure hope today goes better than yesterday.  I got home from work and my DH had his shorts all in a knott becasue our big mower was having a malfunction. One of the belt pullleys appears to be bent. So I helped him put the mowing deck back on our back up mower.  Then it wasn't running right and when he went to engage the mowing deck it would die. Then it started to rain or we would have hooked the finsh mower up to the tractor.  With the big party tomorrow he wanted to have all the mowing done yesterday and it didn't happen.  Then we had problems with a sick horse.  He hasn't been eating his feed for the last 3 or 4 days but had been eating his hay and grass.  He has also been a little lethargic but it has been hot and he is old (28). Yesterday he didn't eat anything and had very little out put. (If you know what I mean) After hours it is tough to find a vet. We finally found one not to far from here but we had to load up the trailer and take him there.  Vet thinks he has Patomic Horse Fever. He is staying there and getting IV fluids and antibiotics for 5 days.($$$$$) (time to get a second job). Vet seems to think he'll recover OK.  We've had him for 20 years and he is just part of the family even though he isn't very smart. This horse can hurt himself  just standing in his stall. His name if Royal Lute but we call him fruity lutey.  It was 11:00 when we got done.  I really don't want to be here at work today and it is staring out to be a busy day. Tonight I have to go home and clean vegetables, bake brownies and power wash the outside furniture.  Sure hope some of you can make the party tomorrow night. We are planning on around 100 people last count. Should be fun.  AGAIN TGIF

Jan, Could you repost the party information? Also, would you email me address/directions & phone # (in case we get lost). I'll talk to Bill about it tonight  but since this is the first weekend we've been home in ??? I don't know if he'll be in a home-body mood or not. Thanks! Sherri

Oh yeah baby - BED REST!

Matt's dad is coming in this weekend because 1)to celebrate Matt's bday. 2)Matt has Special Olympic State Games for golf and softball off of 71st Street and the sports thing there. So I guess I'm gonna be in Indy for awhile Saturday. Or at least try to. We also wanted to go out to Cheeseburger in Paradise for dinner to but of course we have to see how I feel on if we do it or not. It would be nice to be able to do it so I'm gonna rest really well and hope I can make it for the day.

Sherri - Most of my family is like that. That's why I don't let them have a phone number to contact me and I live a state away. Family is nice but only if they aren't toxic. I love `um. Just don't like them. I have a lot better family structure with people/friends that actually care about me. That's what family really is about after all.

Darrah - Matt and I were discussing your sorrow with Joey running off... we both cried. Our pup Chico is like a kid to us and if something happened to him we'd be so devestated. We hope you find him soon.

Well off to start a load of laundry and lay down for awhile. Hope everyone has a nice weekend. Hopefully I'll get to see some of you next weekend at the baby shower.

yea it defintly sounds like u have had it rough this week---just take your time and relax a little 4 yourself----it will get better~ how was your mamogram? i know all about that my mother was diagnosied w-breast cancer in feb 92 and died in oct 92 that was rough---she was 41 i was 18 i think her**** her real fast---she did have 1 removed and lost all her hair from cemo and that made her so ill it wasnt funny~~~~~`i really miss her alot because now she lost the chance to meet any of her g- kids and i got 4 of the lil boogers lol------my dads still around hes still single though~well i just wanted to say keep your head up and things will get better ----someone steal your truck? is that what i read correct? omg that would have to sux--- well hon take it easy go relax for yourself even if its in a bubble bath lol---always works 4 me when i get stressed from these 4 kids throwing fits or fighting with each other geeeesh they r a handful-------------take care-

Missy, The breast surgeon is 99.99% sure that it's just calcium deposits that the mammagram picked up on but she won't release me to have my breast lift & implants until a 6 month follow-up scan shows 'no change'. So..February, we'll know. In the meantime, change of plans, but still very do-able! It wasn't my truck that was stolen. It was the truck that transports lab samples to the lab...that had my blood samples in it. I had to have 3 (of 12) samples redrawn and the stupid blood center didn't know about the truck incident and all but accused me of lying....as if I have a getting stuck fettish or something. Ah well...this week is gone (almost), and I even have 1/2 page done on my first report! Woo-hoo! Sherri

Happy Friday everyone!   I'm soooooo glad it's Friday.  Work has been really busy and I'm ready for the weekend.

As for plans, my only child (6 yr old daughter) is going to a "High School Musical 2" party tonight so Hubby and I are going to have some quality one on one time.  Since my antidepressant has been changed, I've been enjoying one on one more...A LOT MORE!  ROWL ROWL! Hey everyone.. I've been so busy at work... CRAZY really... I had a dr's appointment for 5 months on monday... everything went great.. I don't have to go bac****il January for blood work etc... I've lost 80 lbs and the dr is pleased... They took pictures and sent them to me... I got them today and I started crying... I never saw that girl in the mirror.. what i saw and see is much closer to what i see today, i'm not quite there but someday the two will match...

Tomorrow is my sisters wedding and the drama began last night... GOod lord I wish I could divorce my mother... She so gets on my nerves SO bad... i'm taking my bottle of xanex to the wedding and rehearsal... We put the D in dysfunctional...

Darrah I'm so sorry about your puppy I will be praying that he comes back or you find him... ::Hugs:: i would be going out of my mind...

On a happier note... the men proly don't care, BUT i started my period on my own for the first time EVER in my life.... I've always had to take either birth control or provera to have one and it just started on it's own from the last induced one... My body is starting to work !!! WOOHOO>>> i never thought that starting my period would be a wow moment... i'm also going to post my pics st v's sent me on my site... check them out.. I'm so glad I'm not that person anymore...
