It DOES get better! That first 6 weeks are the hardest. The food is bland. You're still in pain from the surgery. The protein taste yucky. Can't seem to get in enough water to save your soul. BUT....it does get better and it is all worth it.
I'm glad you found a way to get your vitamins in. You gotta have them hon. As to the food, try to get in at least 1 oz three times a day. Your pouch may not be ready yet for 2 oz. As you get further post-op, your pouch will be able to handle abit more all the time...slowly... Remember that 6 weeks of b-o-r-i-n-g will lead to a lifetime of healthy! Just keep sipping the water. It may take awhile, but eventually, you will be drinking 64 oz and more. Just be patient with yourself.
