Greetings All!  Today was my 4 week check up with Dr. Bergman from my TT/BA/BL plastic surgery. I drove there by myself!! :o) My first "trip" alone since surgery :o) Doc says I am doing fantastic! My scars look awesome! You can barely tell I even had my breasts done just glancing at them!  I see her in 2 months for another check up and my "after" photos. We looked at my before pics today and Doc said you wouldn't even know it was the same woman! It is sooo true1 I told her I am having trouble owning this new body...lol I keep looking at it thinking this is not mine to keep :o) She said I can keep it. We both went on and on about how cute my belly button is. She said she tries hard for beauty but it depends on each individual. She was so pleased with mine. It is absolutely perfect. I talked to another patient who had her arms done and she looked amazing too. I might have mine done in the next year. After my appointment I headed for the Greenwood Mall...of course I had top go by it on the way home ...right??? :o) Actually I did need to go to Victoria Secrets as some of my co-workers sent me free coupons for a free pair of panites soooooo I got 3 pair of panties free just for going! :o) I treated myself to a new body spray and body shampoo. It smells so pretty and believe it or not....the bottle of spray actually purrs when you lift it to spray it!! I about died laughing over it...and the look on the mans face behind me in line at the checkout was priceless.....he kept looking around trying to see where the "purr" was coming from!!  I got fitted for a bra and I LOVE it! Before surgery I had to get a 38 DD just to hold the skin in. Now I got a 38D just to cover me. It seems so odd not needing a bra to lift and support me anymore. If I have something that a bra won't work with I am good to go without one. One funny thing from this surgery is you either go one of 2 ways. You either have a loss of feeling and numbness with your nipples or you have hyper sensativity.  Well, Doc did such a great job I have no numbness at all! LOL I got home and Jon takes a look at me and says smiling...Gee honey are you cold?? ....I laughed and said no Sweetheart I am just happy to see you!! lol In my entire life I have never had my headlights operating on the same level and it is sooooo odd and so wonderful to feel so perfect! I stopped into DEBS and got a few "Hussey"tops for our Vegas Vacation in October. Sherri you would be proud of me! lol I lasted longer than I thought I would today and know that in 2 weeks when I return to work I will be doing great. This surgery has made a world of difference to me and I feel so blessed to have had it. My cup of blessings runneth over!  Have an Awesome Day Everyone!! Huggs!! Marianne

Sherri,  Wednesdays are her real busy office day. She typically does surgery on Tuesdays and all the rechecks are made for Wednesdays. There was an office full when I was there this morning. Hang in there and I know yours will come thru just fine. Then you can taunt me with your fabulous thighs and I will sit here with my jello thighs and turn green with envy! lol  hugs! Marianne

Marianne, I think it's going to actually work out better for me this way. I was really concerned about getting pants to fit right. I have proportionately 'thunder thighs'. They are definately size 10 (if the 10's have WIDE legs). I was wondering how I was going to find pants with a size 6/8 waist that had 10's thigh room. What size pants were you pre-op and now? I'm assuming I'll go down at least to 6 or 8 anyway. Also, I know that most of my excess weight is in my belly & legs. Between the lipo and skin removal of both, that would put be pretty close to where I wanted to end up at...much closer than tummy & boobs would have.  It's frustrating to me for Bill to have to play 'go seek' to find the gals in bed (I know, TMI) but I think mentally, it is even worse for me to look down when sitting or rolling over and see all that excess everywhere from the waist down. It that regard, it will be alot more of a mental satisfaction to have all of that gone...and Bill can keep on his search for another 6 months..lol. I figured that I might not would hear from Dr. B until she gets the official report from Dr. Long-Mire Cook...the breast surgeon. It's mentally satisfying to know that I have a back-up plan in mind...but will be much better to hear her office say that she approves of it. I am so glad you are doing so well!! Sherri

Sherri, I understand the thigh issue totally. Mine are large too but I don't see me ever getting them done. I was wearing mostly size 22/24 in fitted pants ~ leaning towards 24 for a good fit. I got new ones today and they are 20 with a little room for shrinkage! Woo Hoo! I look Hot!! flat belly and small butt!! lol Jon said I looked Hot in them so I am only quoting him! lol :o) My goal was to be able to wear jeans with a top tucked in looking good without "rolls" and I finally have that....so amazing!!  Being a tall/larger woman I will never see the "smaller" sizes but for me I am so thrilled where I am and hope to Bloom here continually!! I am sure Dr. B will do your combined surgery the way you want. It might be best this way as you will have your upper body to fully support your lower body and trust  me that is a huge help!  hugs! Marianne

Ellen...shhhhhh..I think that might be Victorias Secret! lol They carry up to a 38 DD! I love them and I would say they even run a little bigger around than most. The new full coverage bras as soooo comfortable! Once you get in their system they give you great coupons and sales. Even free panty cards every few months...no strings ...just go in and pick out your free pair! I love it! When you go in check out the purring spray and the perfum...box whistles when you open it!! too cute!! Treat yourself to the new Wicked Ellen!!  Hugs! Marianne

Honestly Angie, I never thought I would ever get it done but.......it came up and my insurance covered most of it so I went with it and couldn't be happier with the results. It was more painful than my RNY but more was cut on and I prepared myself for the worst and now at 4 weeks out I am almost as good as new so I am happy. The results are amazing and I still am in shock when I look in the mirror! I got some new jeans today and they are a 20 tall and I look so skinny for my frame. I can't wait to go back to work to strut my stuff! lol Life is soooo good! hugs! Marianne
