Okay....the breast surgeon is 99.99% sure that thecalcium deposits are just that ....BUT.... is recommending no breast lift or implants until a follow-up mammagram proves that...IN 6 MONTHS!!! So...the girls are put on hold yet again! My follow-up is scheduled for February. So.... When life gives you lemons, make lemonade...right? I was going to have my thigh lift next spring so I'm going to see if Dr. Bergman will do it along with the tummy now and do the breast in the spring. She isn't in today so I left a message & I should hear something tomorrow. On the plus side, although my breast will have alot of skin removed, I think my thighs will have even more...and with lipo, I KNOW more pounds will be removed. This way too, my pants will fit right. I should also ultimately miss less work this way. 6 weeks for now, 2-3 weeks this spring. The other way, it would have been 6 weeks for each. Sad for my girls...but if Dr. B says ok, it'll be good for all else.... Sherri

Look at it this way Sherri. the girls can always have nice soft pillows put under them to rest on or a nice bra to perk them up, your thighs can't.

Sherri, You have a wonderful attitude ! Stick with it! :o) Since you are planning on both, any combination should work. I see Doc tomorrow (wednesday) for my 4 week checkup. My incisions are looking sooo wonderful, Still really sore and tender. I am so pleased. I still have trouble accepting my beautiful breasts! lol it ishard to realize that they are really mine to keep :o****ep bumping into them with my arms and when I roll on my side. In the shower I handle them like they are going to break! lol it is so wierd! I am still not up to speed energy wise and don't go back to wor****ill the 28th so 2 more weeks ought to give me enough time to rest. I doubt that I will ever do my thighs at my age but maybe my upper arms in the next year. Take care sweetie and keep your chin up and that gorgeous smile on your face!  Hugs! Marianne

Hi Sherri, It's better to be safe than sorry.  And, since you have a back up plan...all the better.  I went through the same thing last winter (even had to have a biopsy done).  My theory is that since we've lost so much weight, the calcium deposits are easier to see in the mammograms.  I'm sure yours will turn out fine and in the spring you'll be able to get the "lift" you've been waiting for! Good luck on the remodel!
