well my surgery was wed everyting went ok they kept me till friday because of a fever??? im home 1 day and im doing horrible they gave me perocettes cuz im allergic to liquid vicodin i feel horrible the pain is auful i trying to drink but i feel so full and i no im not getting in te expected im haveing pain in my back also geesh and pouring sweat i even have ac in my home-------well i called dr today ive got to go back up there they think it would be best for me so another 2 hour drive im going in lil bit

Be careful driving back to Indy. I sure hope that shot works. It had better with you having to drive 2 hrs to get the dang thing.   xoxoxoxoxo.... Luv ya      Hopo you feel better soon.

Hi,  I sure hope you are feeling better! Is anyone helping you during this time? Just remember to try to sip as MUCH as possible slowly, you don't want to dehydrate!!!   It is probably gas in your back( atleast mine was) so DO try to walk as much as possible- even if it just to the potty & back!! Those GAS-X meltaways( you place on your tongue) do help as well.  keep on keeping on- the first few days are the hardest, but it DOES get better!!!! (((hugs))) Ellen

thinking of you...i know it's tough the first few days...I'm 10 days post op now and getting MUCH better...just hang in there! hugs jen

id like 2 thank all u for ur support it really helps alot~~~~~~well they kept me over night and gave me something in my iv to help with bowels it started with a r?? and i finally felt some relief----but still in pain from surgery they also said i was eating in 8 mins and i sould slow way down---i just tought since i was eating soft stuff tat it would go down earily but tey said i still needed to take 30 mins to eat wow is that ever hard????????? i was wondering why dont they offer cheese or refried beans in the hosp??  because the handbook that was given out says refried beans is ok and block cheese ok too am i correct or not????????

I wouldn't eat block cheese... string cheese is a softer cheese and ok... but block cheese is a little harder for the tummy to process... i didn't eat any until i was about 4 weeks out
