Great 1st appointment with my doctor

Today I met with my surgeon.  She was very nice and didnt rush me at all and answered all my questions and concerns.  I feel soooooooooooooo much better about the surgery now.  She thinks I am a great person for this surgery and thinks I will do really well with it.  I am so happy to have the chance to do this while I am young (im 27) and instead of waiting - knowing I cannot do this on my own. I want so much to toally change my health and become a healthy person and eat right and I need this to help me. So Dr Murphy and I talked about a surgery time and I cannot have it done until harvest time is over because my DH is a manager for a huge agricultural compant and so my surgery will be in late october-november.  

Hi & welcome! That's great- your on your way to a "new, healthy" life! I wish I'd been able to have it when I was younger & before I ruined my health, but it wasn't meant to be. Thank God  I had it when I did- my RUNY  has  given me a new healthy lifestyle, perspective, "family" and so many unexpected blessings . BTW, tell us alittle about yourself. im not at all new here, just a new poster.  Ive been a lurker here for easily 2 years now.  I just didnt decide to "join" until it was official.  I am doing self pay.  BCBS of AL stinks and wont approve me because i dont meet qualifications.  The policy hasnt changed in 2 years.

My surgery will be in Goshen, IN

Ok ladies..please forgive me but what does DH mean. Ive seen it posted before, and I think it has something to do with husbands...lol....sorry to seem ignorant. Thanks. Good luck with your surgery Sarah. keep us all posted.

DH = Dear husband oh!! and we are celebrating our 5th wedding anniversary tomorrow too !!!
