Hi all! How are you doing? I'm doing pretty well. Excited about the school year starting. My son starts next week on the 15th. We just got him his new glasses for school. He went without for a while, after losing three pairs in the last year. We got a special at Wal-mart --- 2 pair for $80. That rocked, because even though we both have vision insurance, and Mikey has Medicaid, we can't get him anymore with the insurances/Medicaid for awhile. He was told this year, if he doesn't come home with his glasses, there will be no video games. That's incentive for him. He's a video game junkie.  It's so hot this week, that I'm going for my riding lesson early in the day tomorrow, because in the evening it's too hot for my horse that I've been riding. He's a great horse, but no spring chicken. Which is fine with me, because he's so calm, but still, have to take that into consideration.

Ugh, Linda you are tougher than I am to ride in this heat. My horse has been pampered lately. Just standing in his stall with a fan on him and I've hosed him down twice this week already.  He was out last night chasing his herd of mini donkeys around and came in all wet and breathing hard.  I keep saying I'm going to ride in the mornings on the week end but something always comes up.   We've been spending most of our free time learning about our new (used) RV.  All the electrical systems and pumps and tanks.  It has a great sound system in it with front and rear speakers. Kind of like a mini theater. They had disconnected the rear spakers becasue they would use another TV in the back. I found how to hook them back up last night and we now have surround sound!  Tonight we are going shopping for bedding for the two beds.  I don't have a bed in the house that uses full size sheets so we need new. We are slowly getting it stocked up and I'm so anxious to try it out.   I'm glad we are past the days of getting kid ready for school. Funny thing is I still remember the feelings I had as a kid getting ready to go back to shcool.. Shopping for new clothes and school supplies. Anxious to get back to see old friends but still hating that the summer was over.  Gee where have the years gone? Well I hope everyone has a happy hump day!  Say a prayer for Missy from Bluffton.  Her surgery is today!
