friends, dating... blah

Lisa I've been trying the internet to meet others.  My ex-fiancee and I met on the internet so Im rather scared to try it again, but it seems like the only means in away.    I've also thought about attending church to see, but I never attend anyway so to me any relationship based on church would be a lie.  That's the last thing I want... another lie-based relationship.   What internet sites do you use?  I've tried Yahoo and Plenty of Fish.... talk to a few online, but nothing bloomed to anything but chatting.   Thanks for replying Julia
