Disappointed

Hi All New to site.  Well I just went for my scope on Friday.  Found out I have 6 baby ulcers.  I have an appointment with the surgeon on Thursday the 5th.  I guess I should call and see if I need to cancel.  What a BIG let down.  The GI doctor said at least 6 weeks for them to heal.  I have been waiting for 27 months because of insurance I guess 6 more weeks won't hurt.  Love reading everyones progress.  Keeps me hanging there.  Keep up the good work !  Lisa

Rebekah How are you feeling?  So glad that you responded.  Do you think they will cancel my appointment because of the ulcers.  I guess they will have to heal before we can proceed.  Good luck on your recovery and weight loss.  You are in my thoughts and prayers.  Hope to see you at a support group meeting.  Lisa

Hello I am not sure about the ulcers.  When they did my EGD they found out I had Acid Reflux and i didn't know it.  My surgery went well and I am recovering well.  So far I have tolerated everything I have tried to eat.  I did gain some weight after surgery from swelling and all the fluids they were given me but three days out of the hospital and it is gone.  I am sure you will find out soon what is going to happen.  I'll say a prayer for you.  I am sure I will see you at a support group.  I try to come to them.
